If you want to turn this Welcome screen on again, use the "Program Options" menu of the main screen.
REMEMBER YOUR ENCRYPTION KEY! You will be asked to provide an encryption key. Should you forget that key, there is no recovery of the original content of your Item.
Using this selection you can provide a key to decrypt a previously encrypted Item. Should you make a mistake when you input the key, DO NOT SAVE THAT ITEM! Instead, you may try a new key since all decryption attempts are performed on the disk copy and not the displayed version. However, NEVER SAVE A FAILED DECRYPTION copy of an item. Either switch to another item or try another key.
This allows or suppresses the display of the normal "Welcome" screen that is displayed when you first load the GooPut page. The display of usage "Tips" is controlled separately. This setting will not affect important notices which will still be displayed at startup.
This setting is also available in the "Stack Options" menu.
Clear any Startup Default Stack load entirely. See option above for more information.

Except for any Stacks that you have exported and saved elsewhere on your computer, this action will DELETE ALL GOOPUT INFORMATION from your computer. This action is NOT RECOVERABLE.
This will display a selectable list of all currently available Stacks. New Stacks may be made by using either the "Create" or "Import" Stack options below.
Your information consists of text Items that are placed into Stacks. You may segregate your data into as many independent Stacks as you wish. This selection allows you to create a new empty Stack. This just creates the stack. To make it the "Active" Stack you must "Load" it using the option above.

Import a previously Exported Stack. Basically, you will be asked to locate that stack (a file of the form stackname.html) and double click it to open it in a browser window. Instructions are provided to guide you through the process.
The encryption process will first ask you for an encryption key, and then use that key to encrypt the stored copy of the Active Stack as well as any future alterations. This does not have any effect on previously Exported Stacks that you have stored on your system.
For entire Stack encrytion, it is the GooPut storage copy that is encrypted, not the displayed data. If the Actve Stack is an encrypted one, using this option will remove encryption from the stored copy. This does not have any effect on Exported Stacks that you have stored on your system.
